Nofence grazing technology in Lancashire

Field day: Conservation grazing, Lancashire

Conservation grazing of 80 hectares including SSSI limestone grassland, scrub and woodland mosaic habitat with rare butterfly species. Cattle graze the site with Nofence throughout the year with rainfed water points and no supplementary feeding. To sign up for attendance, please click here.

Field day: Common land grazing, Brecon Beacons

The Highland and Highland x Shorthorn cattle graze at 1200-1400 ft on common land known as Mynydd Myddfai part of the Mynydd Du. The cattle are being used as conservation tools to manage the habitat in reducing the fire load and improve biodiversity the by-product of this process is the protein (beef).
