Solar cells
A tough, durable collar with solar panels. Surface scratches will not have a noticeable impact on the effect.
Bluetooth
Three important functions - capture signals from shelter beacons, for deactivation of GPS when the animals are in shelter, as well as locating a collar if you have no cell phone coverage.
Rechargeable battery
In the grazing season, the batteries are charged by the solar panels. The batteries will last longer if you have large pastures, good mobile coverage and good sun conditions.
Motion sensor
Registers acceleration along three axes, and is used to both save energy and is the basis for further development to provide valuable information about the animal's condition.
GPS receiver
Nofence uses satellite signals from American and Russian GLONASS to determine its position.
Communication over mobile network
Nofence uses the 2G and 4G network in order to communicate with the app. In order to receive notifications and updates, there must be cell phone coverage in the pasture.
