Grants & subsidies in Ireland

 Placeholder text

Nofence has launched an online store for existing customers!

Here you can buy collars and extras - and have them delivered immediately.

Nofence is actively engaged in conversations to help make this technology more accessible through future funding programmes.

Unfortunately, there are no grants or funding schemes in Ireland that support virtual fencing.

The good news is, that you can help change this! Farmers hugely influence what gets funded. If you, like us would like to see Nofence included in future schemes, you can make your voice heard by contacting your local ACRES advisor. In other countries, we have seen that this really speeds up the process  -  it truly makes a difference. Find your local ACRES advisor here.

National Heritage Lottery Grants

Nationwide Availability
National Heritage Lottery funding is available at different levels. Applications under £250,000 are reviewed monthly at local meetings. For grants between £250,000 and £5 million, decisions are made quarterly by local committees. Larger grants over £5 million are reviewed by the Board of Trustees, or by panels they appoint.

Regional funding

United Utilities (Water company)

North West England
United Utilities provides water services across the North West of England. In some cases, they support projects using virtual fencing to manage livestock along waterways, helping to protect water quality and sensitive habitats.

Affinity Water (Water company)

Hertfordshire, London, Eastern and South Eastern England
Affinity Water supplies parts of Hertfordshire, London, Eastern and South Eastern England. They may support the use of Nofence in areas where grazing livestock can help maintain healthy water ecosystems and protect land near rivers and reservoirs.

Grants available in the UK

Here you can find a list of available grants in the UK and Scotland. Depending on the institution, you can get even up to 60% of the Nofence cost covered.
