About Nofence

Nofence is the world’s first commercially available virtual fencing system for cattle, sheep and goats. Our ground-breaking fenceless grazing solution eliminates the need for physical fences and enables farmers to flexibly manage their pasturelands and herds from their smartphones. In 2020 Nofence started 25 market pilots in the UK after success in Norway, and now we are expanding into the UK. We are looking for enthusiastic salespeople to join our Nofence UK Team this spring.

 

Overall Purpose

Sales responsibilities prioritised towards organisations committed to practising conservation grazing in the UK as your main account. In this position you should expect to combine strategic work and operational tasks. Your purpose is to lay the foundation for Nofence to succeed exponentially over time in the UK & Ireland.

Strategic

  • Sales strategy, specific to the UK
  • Market strategy
  • Community Building strategy

Tactic

  • Engaging network and potential customers.
  • Build relationships with organisations, communities, universities, and farmers.
  • Select and plan events

Operational

  • One-to-One sales communication
  • Engage at fairs and events
  • Webinars and presentations
  • Operational matters, such as customer support
  • Visit customers and collect feedback for product improvement

Team member

  • Continuously contribute to improving product, customer journey, and customer experience
  • Contribute to the development of our UK Team

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Specific Areas of Expertise

  • Conservation Grazing in a UK context
  • UK livestock sector

Qualifications

  • A well-documented understanding and relevant experience from the UK livestock and agricultural sector
  • Committed to achieving the same goals as Nofence
  • Understand and interest in technology
  • Network builder within key organisations, institutions and authorities

 

Language, Education & Other Requirements

  • English oral and written fluency
  • Education within Agriculture/Land Management will be a bonus, but not required.
  • EU/UK Drivers licence

 

Workplace

The position will have an office at the Agri-EPI Centre in the Midlands. We will be a small team working from the UK office together. We will also be working closely with the team in Norway, located in Molde and in Oslo. Travel must be expected to events, and where our customers are.
